Payroll application is used to process employee salary, maintain their payment records, and address the statutory and legislative requirements. It manages the entire employee pay cycle, hire to retire, delivering required payroll tax reporting and providing data to maintain accounting. Oracle Global Payroll solutions reduce manual tasks wherever possible to reduce error and time to pay employees. It has a very good interactive payroll dashboard interface to view and take actions on processes.

Oracle HCM Cloud Global Payroll is one of the major primary applications in Oracle HCM Cloud applications that come under the Workforce rewards process.
This process includes global payroll, global payroll interface, benefits, and compensations.
It is tightly integrated with other HCM Cloud modules such as Global Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Oracle Time and Labor, and Oracle Financials.

Localization is also available for payroll applications in some countries. It is pre-built, country-specific configurations that support
local taxation, statutory and legislative requirements for processing payroll.

Oracle Cloud HCM now supports payroll services in 14 countries, including Bahrain, Canada, China, France, India, Ireland, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Oracle HCM Cloud Global Payroll Interface supports third-party payroll applications, where applications store personal payroll information, such as earnings & deductions, and transfer it to third-party payroll applications. Inbound and outbound data transfers are required so that both systems will have the latest data.

There are two different types of licenses available for Oracle HCM Cloud Global Payroll: Fusion Payroll—PAYROLL and Global Payroll Interface—PAYROLL_INTERFACE.
Based on the selected license, payroll features are available, such as the element template, calculation card, etc.
